This oud fragrance is a quality top-grade fragrance. The scent has a sharp and spicy aroma. Applied to clothing, the fragrance will easily last up to 6-8 hours.

Some of Agarwood (Oudh) Oil uses and benefits:

  1. Use a few drops in diffuser to help relax and calm anxiety. It’s also believed to help insomnia because of its natural compound valerian that can promote deeper and restful sleep.
  2. In meditation, it is used to help clear and calm the mind, brings about positive energies and enhanced awareness.
  3. Mixed with carrier oil such as jojoba oil or coconut oil, use as a natural and safe pain relief massage oil. Alternatively, you can put a few drops of agarwood oil on a hot compress and apply on the affected area.
  4. Wear it on the skin as perfume, or dilute with alcohol or a carrier oil.

Those with bleeding disorders or those on anti-coagulant medications are warned that Frankincense has blood thinning effects that may increase their risk of irregular bleeding.

As is the case with all essential oils, it is imperative to consult a medical practitioner before using Frankincense essential oil for therapeutic purposes. Pregnant women are strongly advised against using Frankincense essential oil, due to its emmenagogue properties, which may induce menstruation that can be hazardous for the fetus. Pregnant and nursing women who insist on using it are advised to first seek the medical guidance of a physician. The oil should always be stored in an area that is inaccessible to children.
